Week #7 – Shiny Surfaces

This is the seventh week assignment…the challenge for this week is to paint shiny surfaces (such as: aluminum, tin, silver, pewter). What a challenge to make yourself paint what the eye sees and not what your brain THINKS it knows! HA! A simple still life using a full color palette (titanium white, red oxide, yellow ochre, cadmium yellow, ultramarine blue and Hooker’s green – no ivory black is permitted from this point forward, although optional). 🙂
